Mission Trip Fundraising

We are partnering with Chris White and local church planters in New York City. Our overall goal of the NYC mission trip is to serve alongside local church partners, hear their vision for reaching their city, and provide support to them while we are there. Support could be through outreach projects that help evangelize their area, service projects that serve the people they’re trying to reach with the Gospel, or light clean/up construction projects for ongoing ministry.

We are partnering with Mission Lab at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Mission Lab has been proclaiming the gospel to the city of New Orleans for many years. While there, students get to experience many different forms of ministry

We will be partnering with UK-USA ministries in Sunderland in middle UK. UK-USA ministries was founded by Mike Taylor, a youth pastor who was serving in Houston. UK-USA ministries seek to spread the Gospel thru local ministries such as sports camps, after school clubs, and in school ministries. Our in-country partner is Hope Family Church outside of Sunderland U.K. Their pastor, Gavin, has a heart for the community and schools around the church. We will have the opportunity to be in local schools talking with teenagers and sharing the Gospel.

At SLU 301, the leadership journey continues deeper into history as students traverseEurope, learning to think bigger about the world. As students experience the sacrifices made in the past and consider the world views of great philosophers who have paved the way, they learn that leaders are called to shape history and leave a legacy for Jesus that is larger than themselves.
