Our members serve others through a variety of helpful tasks, including mail-outs, assembling newsletters, visiting nursing homes, volunteering at KARM, and replenishing supplies in our worship centers. When they’re not serving, they work on building and maintaining important life skills.
Helping Hands also partners with Concord Christian School, giving members the opportunity to form meaningful relationships that help both members and students grow in confidence and develop valuable social and practical skills.
This ministry provides wonderful fellowship and it teaches cooperation, care for one another, and gives our members a strong sense of value as others see all they can accomplish. And we love celebrating every achievement—big or small!
Helping Hands serves adults with special needs who are 22 or older, able to follow simple directions, and do not require one-on-one supervision or participate in other ongoing community programs. Space is limited and family interviews will be conducted as space is available.
